Course Overview

TikTok has recently launched an advertising process and hyperlinking text feature for businesses, although influencers and brands mention that challenges have been prevalent on the platform since its formation. Currently, brands are unknowingly on TikTok (in the form of existing user-generated content) and use it to organically drive brand awareness. Others are more intentional with their presence on TikTok with ads that are oriented around generating website traffic.

Course Objectives

Successful candidates will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills on the following:

  • To leverage TikTok to reach out to the Gen Z
  • To create bite-size content for TikTok Marketing
  • To incorporate TikTok into their Social Media Marketing strategy

Pre-requisites

  • Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
  • Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent

Course Outline

This course will equip learners from the Retail sector with the knowledge and abilities to leverage TikTok into their Social Media Marketing strategy.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

    • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
    • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance.
    • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
    • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
    • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance
    • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
    • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from the employer if trainee did not meet the eligibility criteria.

SkillsFuture Credit: 

      • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

PSEA: 

      • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) funds to offset course fee payable after funding. 

UTAP: 

      • NTUC Members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). 

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding: 

      • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year. 
      • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee. 
      • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.
