Course Overview

Live Streaming Strategy takes centre stage in the overall marketing strategy especially during post pandemic era. All digital marketing needs to be online, on-air, on-time and on-demand. Engagement is more important than content. From the wider perspective, virtual events offer more opportunities for brands to connect with fans and prospects alike. This course provides the entire digital marketing strategy from planning, marketing, and execution of different types of live streaming and virtual events.

Course Objectives

Successful candidates will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills on the following:

  • To create the master checklist for live streaming.
  • To market the live streaming events to ensure maximum audience participation.
  • To setup a live streaming with multi-camera, green screen, spotlight, and sound input requirement through switcher.
  • To execute a live streaming event with detail agenda planning.
  • To promote engagement during the live streaming.

Pre-requisites

  • Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
  • Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent

Course Outline

This course will equip learners from the Retail Sector with the knowledge and abilities to engage followers in multiple social media platforms and evaluate the success of a live streaming event.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Medium of Instruction & Trainer:

  • Lectures and hands-on practical sessions, Group discussions and sharing, Individual and group presentations, and Role Play.
  • Trainer: Trainee Ratio is 1: 20

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

    • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
    • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance.
    • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
    • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.
    • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
    • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance
    • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
    • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from the employer if trainee did not meet the eligibility criteria.

SkillsFuture Credit: 

      • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

PSEA: 

      • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) funds to offset course fee payable after funding. 

UTAP: 

      • NTUC Members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). 

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding: 

      • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year. 
      • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee. 
      • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.
