This is a 2-day programme created to test the skills and competencies of workers in the Manufacturing and Electronics industry.

Course Outline

This assessment programme will test the competency level of operational-level workers in the Manufacturing and Electronics industry. Candidates will be assessed in basic teamwork building, manufacturing 5S techniques, planning and carrying out daily work schedules, improving work quality, usage of basic hand tools as well as electrical measuring equipment.

• Module 1: WSQ Apply Teamwork in the Workplace
• Module 2: WSQ Apply 5S Techniques in Manufacturing
• Module 3: WSQ Apply Quality System
• Module 4: WSQ Use Basic Hand Tools and Equipment
• Module 5: WSQ Operate Electrical Measurement Devices

Pre-requisites

• Able to speak, read and write in basic English Or
• Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills System (ESS) are eligible:
  - Listening/Speaking Min. Level 3
  - Reading/Writing Min. Level 3
  - Numeracy Min. Level 3
