Target Audience

This course is suitable for operational level workers such as machine operators, production floor operators, planners, craftsman and technicians.

Course Overview

On completion of this module, participants will gain skills and knowledge in identifying and carrying out improvement activities in the workplace. Participants also learn how to evaluate and implement different improvement techniques to carry out such processes and how to monitor and follow-through with the implementation.

Course Duration

15 hours (2 days) inclusive of assessment hours

Assessment

Written/oral question, presentation and submission of work assignment are required after completion of training.

Pre-requisites

• Completed PSLE and are able to speak, read and write in basic English

or
• Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills System (ESS) are eligible:

  • Reading/Writing Min. Level 3
  • Numeracy Min. Level 3
