This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to effectively conduct competency-based assessment and participate in an assessment validation.

It also teaches you how to interpret the competency standard and other assessment requirements for assessment purposes, assess a learner's performance in the workplace, interpret the collected evidence and makes a judgement of competence against the specified competency standard(s) by applying the principles of assessment and rules of evidence, work in collaboration to review, compare and evaluate the assessment process and the outcomes; and validate the assessment methods, assessment tools, the evidence that was collected where the data is being interpreted to make a judgement of competence.
