This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to effectively plan and organise the assessment process and develop competency-based assessment tools.

It also teaches you how to consult relevant people to establish purpose and context of assessment, identify and/or confirm assessment methods which most effectively address those evidence requirements, design and develop the documentation to guide and support the collection of the required evidence through the designated assessment methods, identify materials and physical resources for the conduct of assessment, organise assessment arrangement (including specialist support, if required) and field-testing the assessment tools against relevant criteria and make appropriate amendments to assessment tools.
