What is the NSRS Assessor able to do?
How do I be a NSRS Assessor? You will need to take the NSRS Assessor Course Conduct Competency Based Assessment, as well as have the following criteria:
Are there any qualifications or pre-requisites to get in? You will at least need to have a minimum of O levels but more importantly you will need the understanding of the respective training or industry. You must also have tha bility to speak and write in English (equivalent to WPL Level 6) is necessary to be able to understand the course and carry out the assessment. After completion do I get a certificate? For Plan & Design Competency-Based Assessment & Conduct Competency-Based Assessment respectively, after attending at least 75% and completing the assignment successfully, you will get a Statement of Attainment (SOA ). As for Supervising Assessor Course, after attending the course, a Certificate of Completiong will be given. Does this give me any exemption from the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) course? By having the SOA for NSRS - Plan & Design module, you will not be required to do the CM4(a) module in ACTA. By having the SOA for NSRS - Conduct CBA module, you will not be required to do the CM4(b) module in ACTA. (When applying to do the ACTA, you will need to provide the necessary SOAs for the processing.) Do the assessor certifications allow me to train on NSRS programmes? The pre-requisites for a trainer are different. The assessor courses basically teaches you the skills needed to carry out an assessment.
