This course is suitable for people who are moving into the training arena with little or zero knowledge in training field. It is also suitable for full or part-time in-house trainers, freelance trainer, training consultants, assessment developers or assessors.
The course specifies the competencies required of an individual to develop a competency-based assessment. Primarily, people who require such competencies are those who would be involved in developing a competency-based assessment plan to gauge a worker’s job/task competency level against a set of prescribed standard. In relation to the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), this course equips learners to develop a sound assessment plan based on a set of National Competency Standard under the WSQ system.
21 hours (including 1 hour assessment)
Participants are required to attend a final assessment comprising of written test (1 hour).
