This program teaches participants a life skill — Mindfulness.
Mindfulness is a state of mind that has the ability to pay attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment. Mindfulness can be practiced in virtually every daily activity including eating, listening and relating to others.
Our performance can sometimes be compromised by our emotions when affected by the attitude and actions of others. Mindfulness enables us to better control our emotions and manage stressful situations with greater ease. Improvement in productivity and teamwork are proven tangible benefits of mindfulness.
- Allow one to recognize how the mind and the body respond in stressful situations.
- Understand how mindfulness helps to improve both physical health and mental performance which in return bringing about greater attention control, emotional regulation and job performance.
